Join our team as an Inventory Analyst II, focusing on optimizing inventory levels and supporting our mission to advance cardiovascular health. In this role, you will collaborate with the supply chain, commercial, and customer service teams to manage and analyze field inventory, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute processes to manage field inventory, including documentation and reporting.
- Optimize inventory levels and minimize expenses like scrap and freight.
- Partner with sales management and representatives to align on inventory targets and execution of projects.
- Visit the field to understand business needs and current state.
- Inform sales representatives about consignment return procedures and inventory management policies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory in partnership with the sales team.
- Implement Use Before Date policies and generate stock rotation reports.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies with customer service and distribution teams.
- Create and analyze Excel spreadsheets for inventory management and ensure data accuracy in ERP systems.
- Negotiate and handle interactions with sales reps, managers, and customers using problem-solving techniques.
- Coordinate cycle count activities with Sales Representatives and resolve discrepancies.
- Support company initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Associate Degree
- Minimum 2 year of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Business Objects
- Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills at multiple organizational levels
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and attention to detail skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Over 3 years of experience in customer service, purchasing, material management, or warehouse operations
- Experience in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
