-style turningKey Responsibilities**- Develop and optimize CNC programs for a variety of parts, with a focus on Swiss-style turning machine such as Miyanos and Citizens
Lead quoting and cost estimating for new and existing jobs, including materials, tooling, and labor time.
Collaborate closely with shop floor personnel to ensure accurate setups and optimal machining strategies.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
Maintain organized job documentation and ensure programs are backed up and up to date.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
Interface with customers and suppliers as needed during the quoting and planning process.
Train and mentor less experienced machinists or programmers when appropriate.
Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience, including demonstrated work with Swiss-style turning centers - Miyanos, Citizen
Strong estimating skills with the ability to assess time, materials, and processes accurately.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
