TekPro is an executive search firm with expertise in the autototive and precision machining industries. We're partnered with a machining expert in the automotive industry. We are seeking a Quality Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the product quality management system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for benchmarking the current outgoing quality level of all manufactured products, assessing the opportunities for improvement, creating and implementing plans for improvement of that outgoing quality level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the IATF-16949 quality management system as the Management Representative.
- Lead quality management initiatives and promote customer requirements.
- Drive defect reduction efforts and manage nonconforming materials.
- Oversee final inspections, ensuring timely and accurate product flow.
- Manage department personnel, training, and efficiency.
- Address and resolve customer quality complaints with corrective actions.
- Collaborate in APQP meetings to identify and prevent processing issues.
- Ensure calibration system accuracy and oversee PPAP submissions.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering or manufacturing technology (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of quality management experience.
- ASQ certification and IATF 16949 training preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
