We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our users. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. They will be able to multitask effectively and be able to communicate confidently and professionally. This position is based in Plymouth, MN and local travel to office is required.
Responsibilities Skills:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Perform computer management tasks including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems (primarily Windows).
- Administer user accounts through Active Directory, ensuring proper access controls are in place.
- Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in network administration tasks including firewall management and monitoring network security.
- Document processes, procedures, and solutions to enhance the knowledge base for future reference.
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with team members and employees.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and M365 products and services.
- Proficient in MS SQL Administration, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Maintain knowledge (installation/support) of 3rd party vendor hardware and software through training and certifications.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Workstation and Server OS.
- Understanding of networking and ability to troubleshoot (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Understanding of firewall policies and rules.
- Maintain endpoints though scanning and patching vulnerabilities.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills.
- ERP Administrator.

- Manage company assets and life cycle refreshes.
- Ability to provide ongoing development in MS Access databases.
- Ability to provide ongoing support and development in Ecommerce and web-based platforms.
Education Experience:
- Completed 2-year IT technical degree.
- (Preferred) 4 years of practical or help desk experience or higher.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , or similar) are a plus but not required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
- Have a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to move and lift up to and surpassing 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stoop and bend under desks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
