Responsibilities:
· Enable successful execution of multiple concurrent cross-functional Engineering Continuous Improvement Programs.
· Drive engineering documentation and deliverables to be prepared in accordance with applicable company format and procedural requirements and to be completed, up-to-date, and released upon completion of a CIP project.
· Prepare and communicate program status.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, System, Controls or Software Engineering) and minimum of 5 years of experience in product design and development. Project/program management experience is required. Knowledge of semiconductor, data storage or other capital equipment industries is a plus. PMP certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Leading development programs for complex technical equipment (hardware) involving multi-discipline engineers.
· Estimating, schedule development and control, resource planning, cost estimating, and budget control using program management practices.
· Management of program risk through risk identification, qualification, and control using formal program management practices
· Exposure to PLC and phase gate review experience is preferred.
· Broad understanding of key engineering and technology areas, including mechanical, electrical, system and control, and software
· Ability to multi-task and work with a cross-functional team
· Proven ability to direct and motivate individuals with no direct reporting structure.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and decision-making capability.
· Ability to effectively manage time and program cost.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, system block diagrams, electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and manufacturing requirement is required; ability to create engineering drawings, system block diagrams, and electrical schematics is preferred.
· Proficient with MS Office suite; familiarity with at least one project management software or tool, e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.
· Experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus, with SAP experience preferred.
· Experience with 2D and 3D CAD system. AutoCAD and SolidWorks are preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
