Responsibilities
Design file organization
Review of CAD files processed by AutoCAD Technicians
Sketch plans to determine project feasibility
Site and subdivision layout of roads, driveways, parking lots, buildings, etc.
Project set up for AutoCAD Civil 3D
Grading, drainage and erosion control plan design
Plan, profile, and road corridor design assemblies
Utilize AutoCAD to prepare civil engineering drawings for construction drawings and permitting submittal
Utilize wide-format plotter for plan production, reproduction, scanning
Ensure quality control procedures are implemented
Interact with clients and jurisdiction authorities on delivery of work products
Participate in professional work groups and organizations
Provide training for internal staff on AutoCAD as needed
Qualifications
High school or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology preferred
AutoCAD : 2-4 years
Site Plan and Civil Engineering design : 2-4 years
Driver's License
Civil Engineering Intern preferred but not require
