ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drafter to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid position, with the opportunity for remote work. The Drafter will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for store fixtures. This position offers the chance to work on exciting custom projects and large-scale production rollouts for top retailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create precise and accurate technical drawings for store fixtures using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Develop manufacturing plans and shop drawings for custom fixtures and retail designs.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to interpret and implement design specifications.
- Ensure compliance with construction techniques and material requirements for all designs.
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents and any necessary updates throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various teams.
- Experience in store fixture or retail design is a plus.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
