Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Project management, project development, and marketing
  • Development of detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support
  • Engineering field / topographic surveying and map development
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Construction observation and post-construction monitoring

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering (or related field)
  • California PE license preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the field of water resources or ecological restoration
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Working understanding of HEC RAS and HEC HMS preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with non-engineering staff
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Willingness to travel (typically a few days / month) and work outdoors in rough terrain
