Cable Technician

Description
Our client is looking for Data Center Cable Technicians to install security, cable and fiber in data centers located in Mesa, AZ.
This role consists of installing cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runners, containment, and trunks. Need people with some proof of experience in these areas for the installer level role.

• Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.
• Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
• Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

Top Skills Details
1. Data Center or Cabling experience (coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc) - no license required.
2. Work Ethic - This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, cabling, etc.
3. Data Center/Construction site experience.
4. Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.
5. Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wire testing.
6. Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable.
7. Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
