Candidates for a systems analyst I position must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as be an effective communicator. Must demonstrate experience with hardware and software systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and life cycle management. Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent College degree. 3-5 years' experience. Good knowledge of Windows desktop products. Good knowledge of computer hardware. Ability to work independently and in a small team. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects. Must be flexible with schedule and be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to travel to other offices. Responsibilities: Analyze systems hardware. Perform ongoing hardware and software installation, upgrades, support, and training. Provide telephone, e-mail support, training, to both internal and external customers. Maintain hardware and software inventory databases. Maintain, create and manage Microsoft SCCM. Maintain and monitor backup software. Perform Active Directory tasks. Assist in maintaining anti-virus and laptop backup software. Machine deployments (must be able to lift 50lbs). SGH has over 600 employees and offices in Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York City, San Francisco, Southern California, and Washington DC.
