Digital Marketing Manager - this is a highly visible position offering a ton of autonomy to drive this organization forward. It's an amazing opportunity for this person to grow the company and build an in-house marketing team. We need someone who has a generalized skill set within digital marketing i.e. need to know what SEO is, how a CMS works (the company wants to go with HubSpot), Google Analytics, YouTube, and of course help develop the overall marketing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops deep knowledge of our business, products, and target customers, as well as the insurance industry and our competitors to build a holistic marketing plan that achieves growth and profitability goals.
- Evaluates the overall health of the marketing funnel and identifies new marketing opportunities to improve funnel health and drive down customer acquisition cost.
- Provides strategic recommendations for all marketing campaigns across all platforms and channels, manages their development, implementation, maintenance, and reports results.
- Networks and collaborates with internal resources to effectively leverage their capacities.
- Establishes archiving process for all marketing collateral including legal & compliance review documentation.
- Stays current on the evolving marketing ecosystem and identifies new initiatives to test.
- Develops and maintains regular, recurring reports and performance presentations to share with management and stakeholders.
Act as the day-to-day lead for all marketing functions, including:
- Analytics and reporting: utilizes existing and potential data sources to perform analytics and develops reports that deliver data-driven, actionable insights.
- Website: uses content management system and works with developers and designers to make regular improvements that increase conversion rates.
- SEM, display, and retargeting: manages spend, performance and optimization of campaigns, facilitates creative/ad format testing, message frequency and sequencing, campaign planning, and overarching optimization strategy.
- SEO: oversees strategic planning and tactical efforts that increase organic conversions in a cost-effective manner.
- Email marketing: develops campaigns, from planning through analysis, including development of tests/creative, list management, QA, response tracking and performance analysis.
- Creative: Ensures brand, messaging, and designs speak effectively to our target audience and capture the unique essence of our value proposition.
- Direct mail: creates campaigns using customer segments to drive acquisition while managing costs to target.
- Social: drives engagement that leads to conversions in existing social channels and identifies opportunities to expand into additional social channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of marketing experience (preferably business-to-small-business or business-to-consumer) including at least 3 years of online and email marketing experience.
- Track record of managing a marketing strategy (all aspects of marketing, not just one piece of it) and executing on it
- Experience handling large volumes of data and compiling results analyses.
- Demonstrated analytical/presentation skills.
- Exceptional at managing project timelines, meeting deadlines, and maintaining communication on important initiatives and duties with management and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT
