Onsite AV Support Engineer - C Suite

Job Title: On-Site Audiovisual Engineer

Location: Onsite in Farmington CT
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused On-Site Audiovisual Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of AV equipment and assisting end-users with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
  • Provide on-site technical support for audiovisual equipment, including projectors, displays, sound systems, and conferencing tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Assist with video conferencing setups and troubleshooting.
• Routine Maintenance:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of audiovisual systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform equipment and software updates as needed.
  • Ensure users are comfortable and confident in utilizing AV systems.
• Equipment Inventory:
  • Maintain an inventory of audiovisual equipment and accessories.
  • Track equipment usage and availability.
  • Assist with procurement of replacement parts and accessories when necessary.
• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with AV Technicians and contractors on larger projects as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to share knowledge and solve complex issues.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing user concerns and inquiries promptly.
  • Act as a point of contact for AV-related questions and support requests.

Technical Proficiency:

• Knowledge of AV equipment including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix technical issues quickly.
• Familiarity with Crestron Toolbox, Crestron, Extron, QSC, and Poly audiovisual equipment.

Compensation:

• Pay is based on experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
