Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cutover Lead to oversee and manage the transition of critical technology solutions associated with the ERP - Data, Reporting & Analytics Program. This effort is part of an overall SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA upgrade and is focused solely on the downstream data implications to Kiewit's analytic environments. The scope of this position includes the definition of a detailed migration plan associated downstream data warehouse platforms and analytic solutions and partnering with other cross-initiative efforts to ensure one, cohesive, and accurate workplan is created and implemented. This individual will ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations while implementing new technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing technical processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data throughout the migration process. This role requires a strong understanding of the sequence and dependencies between SAP, data pipelines, data analytic environments, and various consumption and reporting technologies. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data throughout the migration processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and lead the execution of system cutover activities during SAP upgrade for the data warehouse platforms and related deployment of analytical solutions
Develop and implement cutover strategies and detailed plans, with a strong focus on minimal business disruption balanced with technical performance
Gather and document appropriate cutover activities with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness
Oversee data migration tasks, ensure timely completion of all required activities
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to system cutovers, data migrations, and analytic solution deployments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective and timely communication
Monitor and report on the progress of cutover activities, providing regular updates to program and initiative leadership
Conduct post-cutover reviews and provide recommendations for future improvements, particularly in the context of data pipelines and analytic solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in leading data warehouse migrations and deployment of analytic solutions.
Strong understanding of technical processes and best practices for system cutovers, with a focus on downstream data solutions
Experience with data integrity, data accuracy, and data completeness during migration activities, particularly in building data pipelines
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks related to system cutovers, data migrations, and analytic solution deployments
Familiarity with analytic solutions, business intelligence tools, and citizen developer reports and applications
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be technical enough to work with the hands-on team members as well as functional enough to communicate with executives and stakeholders. Must have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
This position will require 50% travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110.00 - $120.00/hr.
