Software Dev Engineer II

Job Type: 12-month Contract (Potential opportunity to extend)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Description:
The Delivery Experience team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will act as first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications.
Primary Responsibilities include:

• Develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug and implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C , JAVA), and perform SQL queries.
• Improve systems that gather metrics on features, and update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with development teams on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, and update/enhance current software.
• Automate support processes and document systems.

Job Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack)
• Previous experience and understanding of Java, Node JS, and AWS
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• must be detail-oriented and have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills,
• Can work independently and work well in a fast-paced environment

Preferred coding skills: Perl, C/C , and/or Java / JavaScript
Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/LINUX.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
