We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Programmer to join our messaging team. Key Responsibilities:
- IBM MQ Management: Understand, implement, and manage message queuing solutions using IBM MQ to ensure reliable and secure communication between distributed systems.
- Software Development: Develop and maintain infrastructure software applications using Python and Java to support integration and automation initiatives.
- Scripting: Create and maintain Shell Scripts to automate tasks and enhance system integration.
- Version Control: Use Git for source code management, branching, merging, and version control.
- Reverse Engineering: Analyze existing systems and software to understand their functionality and integration points, and document findings to support enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, system architecture, and development workflows to ensure clarity and support maintenance tasks.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools to ensure automated and reliable software delivery.
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs to facilitate the integration of various systems and services.
- Integration Patterns: Apply integration patterns and best practices to ensure efficient and maintainable communication between systems.
Experience:
- Proven experience with IBM MQ on Linux, MQ Appliance, Mainframe MQ is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Proficient with Shell Scripting and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
- Experience in reverse engineering and analyzing complex systems.
- Strong documentation skills for creating detailed technical documents.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Expertise in developing and managing APIs.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and best practices.
