This role is pivotal in ensuring that our patients receive the utmost care and service.Key Responsibilities : Professionally handle incoming calls to the clinic switchboard, delivering excellent customer service. Channel calls to the appropriate staff efficiently. Respond to emergency calls following established procedures. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Provide coverage for the receptionist team as needed. Schedule appointments for patients with providers, ensuring courtesy and timeliness.Essential Duties : Answer all incoming calls courteously and efficiently, connecting callers to the correct extension. Relay messages accurately and promptly. Respond to emergency and urgent calls from patients in a timely manner. Direct callers to clinical staff when necessary. Perform operator functions, including triaging calls, connecting and transferring calls, setting up conference calls, instructing users on telephone procedures, and reporting telephone and equipment malfunctions.
