TEKsystems is currently supporting a manufacturing client in NJ for a Parts Service Specialist. This role will be supporting spare part orders and product information to maintain a high quality customer experience regarding manufacturing and assembly operations. Applicants with a mechanical aptitude and customer support skills are encouraged to apply.
*Description:*
- Supporting customers and suppliers with spare part orders
- Preparation of spare part quotations and pricing standards
- Taking spare parts orders from customers
- Following up on delivery times and order status
- Invoicing customer
- Support warranty criteria and process for customer
- Checking service/trip reports from engineers for requirements
- Support purchasing and after-sales by executing various administrative duties
*Qualifications:*
* Customer Support exp.
* Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting
* Knowledge of parts assembly
* Ability to read blueprints
* Computer skills
*Additional Details:*
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift: 8:30am-5pm
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Fully on-site
