*Job Description:*
* Manage work queues and start applying their codes.
* Defend audits and handle queries as needed
* Write queries to request additional information from physicians, which is then used to determine the best way of coding the clinical services for insurance purposes.
* Use EPIC as the EMR system and 3M as the encoder.
* Shift around to support different hospitals, which are broken into regional and university facilities, as needed
*Skills & Qualifications:*
3 years of inpatient hospital coding experience.
CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) is strongly preferred. Open to RHIA, CPC, COC, and RHIT as well.
Required knowledge of DRG and PCS.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
