Our client is looking for a *Cardiology* Editor responsible for assigning and editing medical news content specifically related to cardiology, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance for a physician audience. The Cardiology Editor will be working closely with the Cardiology team and reporting to the Editorial Director. This position requires knowledge of the field of cardiology; solid editing skills,, ,and attention to detail. This person must meet tight deadlines and collaborate with a large, fast-moving content team in a virtual environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Brainstorm new, fresh, and creative angles in the field of Cardiology
-Assign, and edit Cardiology articles that appeal to a well-versed audience of cardiologists and other cardiology-related specialties
-Work closely with our marketing teams to create interesting newsletters and promotional content
-Work with our operations teams to get content published promptly
-Find new, fresh, and creative angles to stories about various health conditions
-Support the Cardiology and Campaigns teams on special projects
