What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transformation Executive- Vendor Management position at TEKsystems?
*Description*
The main transformation initiative is to move from an on-shore to off-shore vendor model where the bank already has 80% of its vendors off-shore in India. Overall, they are looking for a qualified individual in third party risk management/vendor management to reform their VM processes and procedures to help them become more efficient and cost effective.
Some of the main responsibilities entail:
-Determining who the main employers are, review all vendors in place, determine who is signing the SOW's, approve funding, etc.
-Drive strategic sourcing strategy
-Identify growth opportunities, and lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT
-Identify and optimize outsourcing opportunities.
Reviewing IT Contracts library and understand what they should have before they get to legal
-Going through the FFIEC handbook and what it should look like to onboard an IT vendor.
-Working closely with C level, CIO's, VP
