Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee warehouse operations, and facility maintenance, and support continuous process improvements. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, employee supervision, and ensuring safety standards. Additionally, the Operations Manager will collaborate on enhancing operational processes, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily warehouse functions, including inventory control, cycle counts, and scale verifications.
- Team Leadership: Manage and train warehouse staff, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety and security of the work area.
- Process Improvement: Implement and monitor company policies, quality programs, and best practices to improve efficiency.
- Facility Management: Oversee the building and assets, ensuring maintenance and managing facility-related projects.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to corporate standards and internal controls, including overseeing customer returns and material transactions.
- Expense Monitoring: Track and manage branch operating expenses to maintain profitability.
Must have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fastener manufacturing or fastener distribution, specifically for the aerospace/defense sector.
- At least 5 years of management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and basic engineering principles is helpful.
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- This position blends aspects of warehouse management with operational oversight and requires experience in the fastener industry, particularly for aerospace and defense applications.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
