CORSA Performance has an immediate opening for (Quality) Inspector located in Berea, Ohio. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).

- Inspects materials by design criteria
- Read and interpret part and assembly drawings
- Use basic measuring tools
- Report on findings
- Communicate repeat or abnormal non-conformances with QA Technician
- Condition the parts to be packed and sent to customers
- Validate product traceability
- Work closely with manufacturing
- Follows priorities as given by leads
- Process work orders after inspecting
- Place parts into appropriate locations
- Resolve any quality issues of compatibility, tolerancing, and material related issues

Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of ISO9001 preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean and World Class Manufacturing Practices preferred
- American Society of Quality Control Certificate (COE, COA, COT) preferred
- Ability to use Excel
- Thorough knowledge and ability to use mechanical inspection tools (i.e. micrometers, height stand, bore gage, pin gages, calipers, profilometers, hardness testers, air gages, scales, etc.)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus
- Operation of other measuring equipment (i.e. CMM) is a plus
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection
