Job Description
The System Engineering team at Teledyne Controls is looking for a dynamic individual with experience working in cross-functional teams through the hardware and software product development cycle from inception to entry into service. You will work on system architecture product requirements, trade studies, analysis, integration, V&V, and support activities. You will engage in new R&D projects as well as support our existing product lines in wireless data transfer, data acquisition, and networked systems onboard commercial aircraft.
A successful candidate will be hands-on technical with a project engineering perspective. In addition, the ability to clearly communicate across all disciplines - including engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and senior management - is an absolute must.
Your job :
- Learn all aspects of a complex systems to perform technical tasks throughout the system's lifecycle. This may include working with hardware in the lab, developing scripts and / or APIs, or developing automated test routines / procedures.
- Perform Technical Lead duties for small and medium sized product developments including leading engineering trade studies and design reviews.
- Develop Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) architecture models.
- Design and verify system modules based on system operational requirements.
- Perform integration and troubleshooting of prototype HW and SW.
- Troubleshoot root cause analysis of OEM / customer issues in the field.
- Create and execute system test procedures to verify hardware and software functionality.
- Prepare and support design and implementation of automated test scripts and procedures.
- Support and author technical and process related documents.
- Support transition of hardware and software products from development to production, and support entry into service and OEM / customer field issues.
- Support the Program Office in generating product development schedule and cost.

100,000 - $130,000.00
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
Salary Range :
90,800.00-$121,100.000
