About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team as a Rogue 1 Drone System Engineer. You'll be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for our VTOL sUAS, including troubleshooting and testing drone systems, working on projects in C, C , and Python, and debugging basic electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot sensors and sub-systems associated with drone operation (GPS, IMU, range finders, radios, power supplies, etc.)
- Work on projects in C, C , and Python in a Linux-based development environment
- Debug basic electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field required
- ~5 years' or equivalent experience delivering commercial-grade software for embedded systems highly desired
- ~3 years' experience working with electro-mechanical systems with feedback and control systems highly desired
