Job Description
This position supports three U.S. businesses within Teledyne Qioptiq Electronic Solutions, providing custom energetics for defense and space applications.
The role requires high communication and collaboration skills, interacting with various functional areas, including the Corporate International Trade Compliance office.
Closely work with the U.S. RBU Customs Lead to ensure Customs compliance is maintained.
The position reports to the Sr. Director of Trade Compliance for the Aerospace & Defense Electronics Segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with Business Development and other business teams to communicate exporting, importing, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain export compliance procedures and program documentation.
- Identify reporting requirements and ensure accurate and timely submission.
- Develop and implement procedures to achieve full compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.
This position involves the interpretation and application of US government regulations: ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10-12 years of export control experience or equivalent combination.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, BATFE, and OFAC Regulations.
- Experience with automated denied party screening systems and U.S. Government online license application procedures preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Person status required for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
