Role Overview
As the Northeast Military Community Manager (MCM), your primary mission will be to amplify awareness about Telemynd services within military communities. By fostering personal working relationships with key individuals overseeing the healthcare of the military community, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting them to our quality mental health resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Build our VA Presence: Build relationships within the VA Medical Centers and clinics to generate awareness of Telemynd as an option for outpatient behavioral health. The MCM will cover the Veterans being served by VISN 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10 and will be responsible for developing a strategy that identifies that individuals and processes that manage the behavioral health referrals for veterans.
- Expand our Tricare Penetration: Telemynd has strong presence with the active duty and retired military community in the Northeast. The MCM will develop strategies and tactics to build on this base of market awareness to grow referrals. This will consist of building relationships at the military bases and specific to this territory will be strategies to penetrate the reserve and guard communities.
- Be The Go-To Contact: Become the liaison for VA and Humana Military field managers, collaborating closely to ensure Telemynd remains a known, trusted partner for the care of their members.
- Understand & Educate: Deepen your knowledge of local military communities, helping them to understand their mental health benefits and introducing Telemynd as a tailored solution available to them.
- Engage With Veterans: Collaborate with both governmental and non-governmental veteran groups that cater to the medical needs of active and retired military and their families.
- Collaborate On Marketing: Partner with the Telemynd marketing team to spearhead local campaigns and grassroots efforts that yield heightened awareness.
- Master Salesforce: Utilize our Salesforce implementation to track, strategize, and report on regional activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years in healthcare sales within the Veterans Administration. This should include a proven track record of driving sales, through relationship building, within the VA medical centers.
- Sales Prowess: Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships, expanding territories, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive: Natural inclination towards challenging roles and situations.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational and process-driven skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks, thrive in fluid situations, and prioritize duties.
- Teamwork: Solid collaborative skills.
- Initiative: Self-starter personality with outstanding relationship-building capabilities.
Requirements
- Travel: Willingness to travel within your region 50% of the time.
- Military Connection: Being a veteran or closely related to a military member.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and various social media platforms.
