Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Team member to join our team, reporting directly to the Lead Desktop Engineer.
This role involves assisting with various aspects of LAN-based networking, including installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, voice systems, and cabling.
You will also be responsible for repairing or upgrading computer systems as needed, providing Tier 1 level support on hardware and software technical issues, and performing other duties as requested by senior engineers.
Requirements
- Must be a computer course student, graduate, or have relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of network routing protocols and their applications on global networks.
- Experience in managing distributed inventory of network equipment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as routers, switches, network interface cards, firewalls, and telecommunications devices.
- Ability to work at a computer monitor for several hours at a time.
