Duties / Responsibilities
- Administers the organization’s Records Management program to align with the agency’s business and mission needs.
- Provides advice and guidance to records liaisons and records custodians on Records Management lifecycle requirements.
- Modernizes records management functions by managing the transition of agency paper records to electronic records.
- Conducts visual audits and meets with program and management staff to analyze, design, and recommend new or improved methods, procedures and operations involving program and administrative records procedures.
- Provides records center documentation and advises, assists, and informs supervisors/managers and other field office personnel regarding interpretation, application, and utilization of records management procedures.
- Assists with File Plan development and provides file maintenance such as reviewing, sorting and in filing incoming records.
- Creates new files; responsible for handling CBI / CUI / PII.
- Enters records into Versatile Enterprise automated records tracking system.
- Assists with training and attends all mandatory training, in-services, company, and client meetings
- Utilizes Versatile Enterprise records tracking system and other implemented systems.
- Applies NRMP and NARA guidelines for records management.
- Assists with archiving material in all formats for storage at the Federal Records Center and NARA.
- Responds to customer inquiries by searching database, researching information, pulling files and/or recalling material from the FRC.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of TeleSolv Consulting information and complies with policies and procedures.
- Provides excellent customer service; works with staff and client in a professional, tactful, diplomatic manner, with a positive attitude.
- Performs multiple tasks using problem-solving techniques and analytical skills with minimal supervision.
- Completes other duties and/or tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis.
- High School diploma.
- Active Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- One (1) year demonstrated experience in the following
- Electronic records and records management.
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Procedure and training module development.
- Able to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status and abide by contract/department’s COVID-19 guidance when accessing any facility.
