We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or CF who is searching for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with speech and language disorders!
Telespeech Therapy is seeking motivated SLPAs to join our team!
- Full-time and part-time positions available immediately
- This role is IN-PERSON in Bakersfield, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in implementing treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of the SLP.
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor and document client progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the SLP to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
- Current CA state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working in a speech therapy setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the SLP and other team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of relevant software and assistive communication devices.
- CPR and first aid certification.
