Job Purpose
Build and develop the Brand's social communities through participating in discussions, listening to the
current ones, and finding new ways to engage the digital community in order to create advocates for
the Brand. Manage the brand reputation on social channels and review platforms.
Responsibilities
Social Campaign Development
Coordinate with the agency regarding the ideation on social media and communication strategies to align with marketing objectives in order to deliver successful social campaigns.
Content Plan Execution
Responsible for all internal social media marketing including the creation and management for internal projects such as Rewards, WhatsApp and Marketing Automation. Plan and maintain the content calendar to ensure content is regular, relevant and engaging.
Content Creation
Provide engaging content for internal projects ensuring it is regular, relevant and engaging.
Relationship Management (Internal & External)
Manage online communities by engaging with followers to build relationships within the community and encourage engagement. Work closely with customer support to ensure all customer queries, questions, posts are answered as well as manage all online feedback forums.
Data Collection & Analysis
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends. Monitor feedback and online reviews as well as engagement, community growth and social sentiment metrics .
Insights and Reporting
Prepare and coordinate the completion of various social media reports including:
Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists, through identifying finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology including digital technology trends, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Liaise with relevant social media partners to stay updated on new products and features.
Education
Relevant Marketing/Communication/advertising Degree (Essential); Knowledge of all social media channels (Essential)
Experience
5 or more years’ experience in social and community management (Essential); 5 or more years' experience managing various social platforms (Essential); Experience launching community initiatives such as building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter (Advantageous)
