About the Role:
The Enterprise MDM & Analytics Specialist will be instrumental in building, implementing, and evolving a robust Master Data Management (MDM) governance framework across the organization while also driving business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strategic and communicative individual with a strong understanding of data management principles, BI tools, and analytics. The Enterprise MDM & Analytics Specialist will champion data stewardship and business intelligence, bridging the gap between technical requirements, enterprise reporting needs, and business objectives.
In addition to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, security, and quality of enterprise data, the successful candidate will play a key role in leveraging data insights to support business decision-making. The candidate will be responsible for identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Data Governance & Business Intelligence
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance and BI strategy aligned with organizational objectives, fostering a data-centric and insight-driven culture.
- Define clear roles and responsibilities for data governance and business intelligence, ensuring accountability across the organization.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, data modeling best practices, and BI reporting standards to maintain high data quality and usability.
- Implement and manage data quality practices, including data profiling, monitoring, cleansing, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and the progress of governance initiatives to stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead initiatives to resolve data-related issues, inconsistencies, and gaps in reporting that impact business operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Translate business requirements into actionable insights, providing decision-makers with clear and meaningful data-driven recommendations.
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to support strategic business decisions.
- Perform data analysis, predictive modeling, and ad-hoc reporting to address complex business challenges.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to optimize data integration and reporting workflows.
- Promote data literacy across the organization by educating stakeholders on data governance, analytics best practices, and BI tools.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to empower business users with self-service analytics capabilities.
- Advocate for a data-driven culture, ensuring employees have the knowledge and tools to leverage data effectively.
- Ability to analyze and resolve data issues such as integrity, quality and discrepancy.
- Create and maintain data dictionary.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of data design principles and best practices to effectively collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT teams in achieving project objectives.
- Provide technical and operations data support to users.
- Assist in the design and execution of data validations and data cleansing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and comprehensive records of data governance processes, policies, and issues.
- Proficiency with Power BI.
- Industry experience in a SaaS product software company would be preferred.
- Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse Platforms such as Snowflake.
- Experience with implementation of data stewardship framework to determine optimized stewardship processes.
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouse Platforms such as Snowflake.
- 7 years of total work experience, with 3-5 years of preferred experience specifically in data management.
- Proven lead experience in a role within data governance, with a track record of successfully implementing and managing data governance programs. This includes proven experience leading cross-functional data governance teams and strategies and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience in driving change management initiatives to ensure the adoption of data governance practices across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
