What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Vactor / Vacuum Truck Operator position at TeleVac South?
TeleVac South, a well-established, busy storm drain and sanitary sewer service company working with municipalities and other entities, is looking to hire a Vactor / Vacuum Truck Operator.
Duties / Job Details :
- The Vactor / Vacuum truck operator will be required to drive and operate the truck at assigned / scheduled job sites on a daily basis.
- Must be willing and able to travel out of town with crews as needed.
- TeleVac South provides each crew member his / her own hotel room if the work involves overnight stays.
- Each Vacuum truck operator will be assigned a laborer / helper to assist with daily jobs.
- The job will consist of cleaning, jetting pipelines and hydro-excavation for our clients.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50#.
- Be able and willing to learn and practice all TeleVac South safety rules at all times.
