Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transportation routes for drivers
- Monitor transportation costs and maintain budgetary compliance
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient delivery schedules
- Track and report on transportation metrics such as on-time delivery performance
- Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in logistics or transportation coordination
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in transportation management software is a plus
