The Project Coordinator should possess the ability to support an assigned Project Manager on multiple projects of various size, complexity, and duration, an adaptable approach dependent on the assigned work, and a desire to join a collaborative organization driven by continuous improvement and innovation. In addition to Project Coordination, duties will also include Lifecycle, Service and Task delivery support.

At Acuative you are expected deliver a positive, value add outcome for the company and the client, to work independently on project planning as well as working with a high-energy project team.

Essential Functions

  • Provides support throughout project progression within the states of initiation, planning, executing, monitoring / controlling and closing; will be integral within project execution
  • Supports a collaborative effort with sales and business operations to complete project onboarding activities
  • Supports internal project discussions to collect functional requirements and request
  • Supports field service documentation and cross functional service level agreement creation
  • Standards for use within internal ERP and as required external customer identified systems assists in the establishment of project
  • Supports gaining required financial documentation; assists with billing cadence
  • Prepares, maintains and submits clear and accurate activity and dashboard reports using established milestone, deliverable and gate criteria; to include but not limited to project health indicators capturing scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, procurement and stakeholder
  • Supports project closure activities to include final reporting, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and project document archiving; dependent on project, ensure in place requirement for ongoing support, maintenance and or monitoring
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to articulate within verbal and written mediums
  • Encourages and supports problem escalation
  • Promotes good working relationships across the project; supports building consensus
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • College Coursework / or / Associates Degree
  • Certified Associate in Project Management or ability to gain within 6 months
  • 2 years of Project Coordinator responsibilities supporting mid to large projects
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills
  • Additional Qualifications Desired

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Project Management Certificate or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, in good standing
  • 4 years of Project Coordinator accountability supporting mid to large projects
  • Deployment experience within information technology (router, switch, point of sale, access point) / telecommunications (wireless, voice / data services) supports project closure activities to include final reporting, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and project document archiving; dependent on project, ensure in place requirement for ongoing support, maintenance and or monitoring
  • Successful experience in promoting customer involvement and relationship development; proven track record of exceeding customer expectations
