Non-Clinical Case Manager
Location: Raper Armory, Cheyenne, WY 82009

About the Role
Telspace is seeking a Site Lead Case Manager (LCM) to oversee non-clinical case management operations supporting the Wyoming Army National Guard (WYARNG) at Raper Armory, 5410 Bishop Blvd, Cheyenne, WY. This role serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for all contract personnel and ensures contract performance in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The LCM manages the non-clinical case management team and possesses the expertise to provide oversight, tracking, and administrative support in the following areas:
· Non-clinical case management planning and analysis
· Medical records management and analysis
· PHA event planning and execution
· Medical Readiness Classification (MRC) correction and analysis
· Medical board completion (MEB, NDR-PEB, MAR2)
· Patient risk analysis and tracking
· Health service support to WYARNG Soldiers
Additionally, the LCM will manage their own case load while overseeing overall case management operations.
Phoenix Friday Schedule: This position follows a compressed schedule of nine-hour workdays, with every other Friday counted as an 8-hour day off.
Required to work one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) from as early as 0600 and as late as 2200 each day to support Physical Health Assessments. These dates will be provided at least 30 days in advance of the weekend duty.
Telework will not be the primary method of work; however, occasional telework may be considered for a specific purpose.
Responsibilities
· Lead & manage the non-clinical case management team to ensure contract compliance and mission success.
· Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for all contract personnel and report directly to the Government COR.
· Provide strategic oversight, administrative support, and tracking of Soldier medical cases.
· Oversee PHA event coordination, medical record management, and Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) tracking.
· Perform data entry, medical case tracking, and documentation within military systems:
· MHS-Genesis, MODS, MEDCHART, PRT, DenClass, and WYARNG-specific databases
· Initiate, track, and process Soldier medical boards, including MEB, NDR-PEB, and MAR2 cases.
· Manage patient risk assessments, health service support, and medical board completion processes.
· Supervise and coordinate case management activities to ensure Soldiers achieve MRC 1 or 2 status.
· Ensure medical documentation accuracy within eCase, MEDPROS, and other tracking systems.
· Analyze and report medical readiness trends to Government leadership.
· Conduct monthly case reviews with the Deputy State Surgeon (DSS), Health Services Supervisor (HSS), and COR.
· Ensure compliance with Army Regulations (AR 40-58, AR 40-66, AR 40-400, AR 40-501, AR 40-502, AR 600-8-4, AR 25-50) and WYARNG SOPs.
· Maintain HIPAA and Privacy Act compliance when handling medical records.
Qualifications
· Leadership experience in case management, military health administration, or a related field.
· Prior experience supervising personnel or leading teams.
· Working knowledge of military medical readiness programs, medical case tracking, and Army medical procedures.
· Experience in a National Guard, Reserve, or military medical setting (Preferred).
· Proficiency in MHS-Genesis, MODS, MEDCHART, PRT, and other military health systems (Preferred).
· 1 year experience in medical records, case management, or healthcare administration (Preferred).
Security Requirements: This position requires a basic federal background check, known as a Tier 1 investigation, conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). You do not need an active security clearance, but you must be able to pass this background check to be eligible for the role.
