Job Description:
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced LiDAR Drone Pilot to conduct precise and efficient aerial surveys using state-of-the-art drone technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-resolution LiDAR data for various applications, including open field surveys, topographic mapping, and utility infrastructure scanning. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct LiDAR drone surveys of open fields, topography, and utility infrastructure using company-provided advanced drone systems.
- Plan and execute flight missions, ensuring optimal data capture and adherence to project specifications.
- Process and analyze LiDAR data to generate accurate and detailed 3D models and maps.
- Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all FAA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Interact professionally with local residents and address any inquiries or concerns that may arise during field operations.
- Maintain accurate records of flight logs, data collection, and equipment maintenance.
- Travel to various project sites within the Nashville Metro Area.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining LiDAR-equipped drones.
- Strong understanding of LiDAR data processing and analysis.
- Proficiency in using drone flight planning software and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in surveying or engineering fields is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
