Field Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
We're looking for a results-oriented individual with a passion for technology to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic and structured cabling systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test fiber/copper cabling.
- Perform fiber splicing (fusion/mechanical).
- Conduct OTDR testing and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and repair network infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of fiber optic and structured cabling experience.
- Proven fiber splicing experience.
- OTDR proficiency.
- Strong understanding of cabling standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Up to 50% travel for project based work in IN/KY/TN, majority of work is in Nashville area.
- DAS experience a major plus.
Salary : $30 - $40
