• Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Designer to join their growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, proficiency in AutoCAD, experience with site walks, a keen eye for detail when reviewing drawings, and ideally, experience in telecom, electrical, or hardware design.Responsibilities : Develop detailed mechanical drawings and models using AutoCAD, including schematics, layouts, and fabrication drawings.Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.Conduct site walks to gather existing conditions and field measurements for project planning and design.Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and standards.Review and redline drawings.Create and maintain accurate documentation for all design projects.Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.Participate in design reviews and offer constructive feedback.Troubleshoot design issues and provide solutions.Maintain a safe and organized work environment.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience using AutoCAD for mechanical design.Demonstrated experience conducting site walks and gathering field data.Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Experience reviewing and redlining drawings, with a strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Seniority level AssociateEmployment type ContractJob function Telecommunications
