What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Learning Developer (BI) position at Temco Logistics?
We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess data science and software development skills. Your primary responsibilities will involve analyzing large datasets to predict or control results, identifying problems, developing potential solutions, and establishing the necessary processes to achieve them. Your duties will include research and analysis, data cleaning, data evaluation, and modeling. You should have a strong understanding of standard machine learning algorithms and be able to apply them ePectively within a suitable model. Additionally, you may be tasked with creating learning procedures and parameters for automation, maintaining reports, and creating dashboards and data visualizations. QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and models (Linear, Logistic, Random Forest, KNN, FFN, MLP, RNN, etc.)
- Experience with data cleaning & validation (2 to 3 projects) and time series analysis (1 to 2 projects).
- Proficiency in data management & visualization techniques (3 to 5 projects) using Python & SQL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preprocessing of structured & unstructured data.
- Automate data pipelines.
- Create data visualizations.
- Develop & deploy ML models.
- Implement data validation & anomaly detection algorithms.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in Python, C#, or Java.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and programming languages (Python and/or R).
- Working knowledge of SQL (ability to write SQL queries).
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience working with databases, data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools.
DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Hands-on experience with developing & deploying ML models, data pipelines, data security techniques, and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of versioning applications.
- Experience working with various file types in Python (Parquet, Feather, Pickle, CSV, XLSX, JSON, XML, etc.)
