TempExperts is seeking an Associate Attorney with Civil Litigation experience for a well-established Law firm in Miami, Florida.
Summary:
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has at least 5-6 years of civil litigation experience, preferably (but not required) with some federal court practice.
Responsibilities:
- 5-6 years attorney experience, preferably in civil litigation.
- Experience supervising younger associates.
Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills. - Must know about federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures.
- Provide initial analysis of cases and develop case strategy.
- Take depositions of relevant parties and witnesses.
- Draft legal motions and attend hearings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Assist and lead trial proceedings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5-6 years Attorney experience, Civil Litigation experience preferred.
- JD and Florida Bar member in good standing.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Exceptional customer relations skills.
