This position will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and service request management.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for all site-related service requests.
- Accurately enter phone calls, emails, and hard copy requests into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Monitor work order queues and assign tasks to the correct scheduling group.
- Coordinate external service calls with vendors as needed.
- Dispatch technicians for reactive maintenance tasks.
- Prioritize and process work orders while maintaining organized records and reports.
- Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding work order statuses.
- Review, enter, and track MRO purchasing requisitions.
- Support emergency response efforts and collaborate with customers during site incidents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience handling incoming calls and routing inquiries.
- Familiarity with facilities equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to obtain a security access badge for the client location.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive wrist movements.
- Hospital or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms (EAMS experience preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
