Position Summary
The Service Department Manager is responsible for the business results for their assigned team and for the safety and supervision of service technicians who complete the repair and maintenance of mechanical comfort systems. Additionally, this role is responsible for coaching, counseling, and developing HVAC field technicians and apprentices as well as the financial performance of the department.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Conducts assessments and rewards and disciplines employees as necessary
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
- Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills
- Comply with and promote the company Safety Policy
- Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
- Strong understanding of modern leadership principles, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Technological proficiency to include Microsoft Office products
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in data analysis, using data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and adaptable to change.
- Passionate about continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and innovations.
Additional Requirements:
· Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.

- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
