Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all lines
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
- Assures finished goods are in accordance with company quality control guidelines.
- Sets ambitious production goals and communicates goals to key personnel
- Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
- Maintain regulatory compliance and update employees concerning regulatory requirements of the EPA and OSHA
- Establishes and maintains plant policies, procedures, and guidelines consistent with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Establishes and monitors compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes.
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
- Foster an environment that encourages respectful, honest, and open two-way communication
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a production environment.
- Previous experience in safety and quality is strongly preferred.
- Background in lean manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of the organization.
