TempExperts is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Finance for a temporary 6-month assignment at an esteemed healthcare organization in Clearwater, FL .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the financial health of the organization during this period. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of healthcare finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals.
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure financial stability.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Monitor and control expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
Oversee billing, collections, and revenue cycle processes to maximize cash flow.
Implement best practices for revenue cycle management and reduce payment delays.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline billing operations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare organization.
Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of financial management and strategic planning.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
