Responsible for all communications to members, acknowledging all donations and yahrzeits, providing membership information to prospective members, maintain databases, work with vendors, order supplies. Knowledge of Jewish practices and customs is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
- Support the Rabbi, Board of Directors, committee chairs, and other synagogue staff members for the effective day-to-day operation of the synagogue's administration, activities, and premises
- Greet synagogue visitors during office hours (9am-3:30pm, Tuesday-Friday)
- Communicate with members, prospective members, and external vendors and contractors
- Attend 1 evening zoom board meeting on a monthly basis
- Coordinate security coverage for services and events
- Maintain the variety of records required for synagogue business
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Knowledge of Jewish practice preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
