Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Educate students in various subjects, including literacy, math, and physical education.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
- Assess student performance and provide tutoring or additional support as needed.
- Foster social skills and emotional development through interactive play and group activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for students.
Requirements
- 40 clock hours from Florida Department of Children and Families.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in classroom management strategies to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and math concepts for young learners.
- A passion for teaching and nurturing the growth of young minds.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus.
