The Position
This leadership role requires a visionary leader who can engage staff, lay leaders, volunteers, and congregants in achieving our mission and vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in synagogue administration and a strong understanding of the Reform Movement.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for membership growth, integration, and retention
- Collaborate with the Building and Grounds Committee to maintain a safe and functional environment
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and contractors
- Oversee the implementation of the synagogue's replacement reserve engineering plan
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of executive leadership experience
- Knowledge of or desire to learn Reform Jewish ritual, history, and customs
- Prior experience in administration, financial management, facilities management, and human resources
