What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHARMACY SPECIALIST (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Fox Chase Cancer Center position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
The Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for providing advanced clinical pharmacy support to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other staff. They also serve as a role model for other pharmacists and for IPPE / APPE pharmacy students. These activities support our department goal of providing high quality pharmaceutical care for both the hospital and the outpatient infusion room while also supporting our institutional mission.
Education
Bachelors Degree : Pharmacy (Required)
Other : PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or a relevant combination of education and experience (Required)
Doctorate Degree : Pharmacy (Preferred)
Experience
2 Years experience as a pharmacist in a university or research hospital (Required)
License/Certifications
RPH-LIC - PA Pharmacist License (Required)
BCPS - Cert Pharmacotherapy Spec (Preferred)
