What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLUMBER/PIPEFITTER position at Temple Health?
Repairs and installs plumbing systems, such as sinks, toilets, valves, faucets, water heaters, hot and cold water lines, sewer piping and steam piping. Maintains hospital oxygen and vacuum piping lines. Installs new equipment, including toilets (wall and floor) and sinks throughout the hospital. Skillfully uses tools such as pipe cutters, threading equipment and various types of wrenches, etc.
Education
Trade School : Successful completion of a Technical Trade School Program in plumbing or current / valid Journeyman Plumber license (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
4 Years experience in hospital plumbing systems or comparable role (Required)
General Experience and knowledge of applicable fire codes and DOH / JCAHO standards (Required)
General Experience with and the ability to read and interpret blueprints (Required)
License / Certifications
LJP - Licensed Journeyman Plumber (Preferred)
DRIVER - Drivers License (Required)
