Job Summary :
We are seeking a Recruiting Specialist for a non-profit organization dedicated to providing social support, counseling, health and mental health services, education, and supportive housing to at-risk children, youth, and families in underserved minority communities in Brooklyn.
The Recruiting Specialist will collaborate on all recruiting initiatives. This role will involve reviewing and selecting qualified candidates to present to hiring managers while working closely with HR personnel to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Responsibilities include screening and onboarding candidates for various positions, such as Director, Assistant Director, Supervisor, Therapist, Case Manager, Billing Specialist, Executive Assistant, and Counselor. The Recruiting Specialist will also participate in broader HR development initiatives, providing expertise, leadership, and support as needed.
Essential Job Functions :
- Maintaining a pipeline of appropriate candidates to meet current and future staffing needs
- Assist with Job Posting process
- Conduct interviews with the prospective candidates
- Process Onboarding of new Hired candidates
- Handle other HR responsibilities as directed by the Director of Human Resources and support the HR Team as needed.
